2011 board of directors nomination and election changes. At the 2009 Assembly of Delegates, the Delegates approved anamendment to the Bylaws allowing the voting process to commence no laterthan the third day of the Annual Convention. This change will beimplemented beginning with the 2011-2012 vacancies. Since voting for the2011 election will start in December 2010, the nomination timeline willchange: * Nominations for the 2011 election will begin in April 2010. * Nominations for the 2011 election are due June 15, 2010. * In July 2010 the ACTE Nominating Committee will meet viaconference call to approve the candidates and hold President-Electinterviews. * Candidate information will be featured in the November/December2010 Techniques. * Voting will open during Convention and will remain open for 30days. For the 2011 election, voting will take place in the month ofDecember 2010. * Winners will be announced the first week of January 2011. Please note these changes and plan accordingly.
