2010 election--your vote, your voice. The 2010 ACTE Board of Directors Election will be held February1-26, 2010. This year we will continue to have a completely electronicelection. ACTE will post all candidate background materials includingbiographies, platform statements, and video clips on the Web site formembers to review prior to voting. Please note that to simplify theprocess and help alleviate technical difficulties, your username will beyour member number and your password will be your last name. Survey andBallot Systems will again be the election vendor facilitating theprocess, and by the end of January all eligible members will receive ane-mail with voting instructions. In preparation for the election, pleasebe sure to: * Verify your e-mail address with ACTE. If ACTE does not have youre-mail address, it is imperative that you update your member profileimmediately. You can do this on the ACTE Web site by going to www.acteonline.org, and then logging in and clicking on "Update YourProfile" in the top left corner, or by calling 800-826-9972. * Make sure you/your IT Department puts Survey and Ballot Systemson your e-mail's "white list" so your voting informationcan be received and not marked as SPAM. The e-mail will be sent to youfrom: actevote@directvote.net. * Remember that in order to vote, you must be a member of ACTE asof January 15, 2010.
